Have you ever been greeted by your pet dog when you return home after a long journey? For some of us, returning even after a brief period of a few hours is occasion for the lavish outpouring of unbridled joy by some of humankind’s “best friends”!
We typically think of exceeding joy as a result of being enlightened once we receive the light of the knowledge of truth, whatever that might mean.
However, exceeding joy may also be understood as the worshipper’s prerogative to take the initiative and respond to the leaping and greeting of the Hounds of Heaven, Light and Truth.
As we move in the direction of our Creator-calling we are met by Light and Truth, leaping and bounding, sheer uncontaminated and unbridled animal joy!
The reception party greet us and run before us, leading us into the Abode of Always Joy. Here is the band, the welcome-home party, the epitome of orchestral sound and symphonic arrangement, the stiletto-like solos piercing the heart, the artist’s paradise, the extravaganza of Love unconfined, unbridled joy.

I imagine Light and Truth waiting and watching for their master’s return… I lift up my hand, “here I am,” and they come…
Take a moment Respond to Love uncontaminated Follow Joy unbridled Hear the Call voiced Shall I not respond?
