They say that you should not focus on the headlights of oncoming vehicles traveling in the opposite direction; doing this could cause you to steer your own vehicle in the direction of that light when you actually need to be paying attention to the road ahead in front of you. I have found this to be true in my own life.
The point here is that not every light is worth following. Some lead prematurely to death; others will lead you in the right direction; the direction of life to the fullest.
It’s one thing to have the cancer removed from the body; it’s another thing to have the fear of cancer removed from the person. I have found that the latter–having the fear of the thing removed rather than the thing itself–is more in tune with how truth operates in our lives. Rather than focus on our fears, Truth may not remove the problem in front us, but actually delivers us from our fears or anything else that distracts us from the heart of the matter.
Consider,
What is your experience of creativity? Of all the so-called truths out there, what kind are you drawn to?
More practically, how does what we create help deliver people from their fears? How truthfully does it communicate?
