WHY
* The undue emphasis on certain rational cognitive processes as more proper or
legitimate conveyors of truth and knowledge over and against creative and artistic
processes has curtailed the mission of God through the church.
* Many artists and creatives see themselves and are treated as “orphans” in relation
to the church.
* In addition to developing academic rigor and discipline there is much scope for
nurturing and celebrating the creativity of God in every person to fulfill their
God-given ability.
* The whole Bible for the whole world necessarily implies attention to the spiritual
nourishment of the whole person.
* If we are to be fruitful and reproduce creativity in our congregations, then we
must experience it ourselves firsthand and learn how to catalyze creativity and
cultivate the creative soul.
