RATIONALE
* All people are creative – equally, in the image of God.
* Creativity is not merely a psychometric evaluation of human potential. More
basic, it is what it means to be human.
* Creativity does not happen in a vacuum – the context for human creativity is in a
covenant relationship with the Triune God, and thereby with others and creation.
* The diversity of the community of the Trinity forms the theological context for all
human creativity. In this sense, therefore, diversity is a critical component or
necessary precondition for vibrant creativity.
* Christ embodies, manifests, and expresses our common humanity. In Christ, the
nurturing of creativity in the context of diversity creates community.
* The mission of God shapes the activity of the church. In the light of a theology of
creativity, before mission there is creation (verb).
