POTENTIAL OUTCOMES
* Renew creative calling, identity, vocational/spiritual gifts, and mission
* Learn what it means to be creative through your unique design
* Be formed through an interactive and safe environment
* Develop strategies and ideas for greater creative and missional focus
* Learn how to lead and disciple (walk with, equip, and train) others in the area of
nurturing the creativity of God
* Engage in the development of creative worship contexts and experiences for the
sake of the Gospel
* Empower artisan leaders who will be equipped in the design and execution of
multicultural liturgies and the translation of the Gospel amid issues of global
cultural complexity that face the church.
Specifically, we gather in order to:
* Embody the ontology (the why) of participation in Christ for the bringing about of
a new heaven and earth (theological rootedness) through the creation of environments
that nurture and celebrate the Creative Seed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every person
* (In such embodiment) Enact a critical awareness of our place and role in such
participation by spiritually discerning the times in order to discern the needs of a given
context, with a view to integrate into the lives of the community (contextualization)
* (As we enact) Engage in a collective and collaborative multiplication of
creativities amidst the admixture of diversities for the bringing about of godly community
(creative mission). This will require confronting inherent fears and prejudices in a safe
space along with others.
* (As we engage) Express works of justice, mercy, and compassion that integrate
the Creative Seed of God’s Word in the lives of people everywhere (e.g., neighborhoods,
families, workplace etc.) that palpably address the needs of a given community.
* (As we express) Catalyze processes of change and transformation by inviting
others to participate in creating works (individual and collective) that allows/ includes
others to participate in tangible ways, restoring peace in households, between people,
communities, and the transformation and renewal of the city (public liturgies).
* Journey with and learn from fellow creative “seed-bearers” from around the world
through the mutual exchange and sharing of resources (stories, ideas, discoveries, gifts,
and talents) for mutual encouragement and nurturing of creativities.
* Global Partnerships: Establish sustainable partnerships with local “grass root” and
indigenous artisans as well as with those around the world (global and glocal) in a way
that furthers collaborative learning, socio-economic upliftment of the marginalized and
poor (human and community development).
* Theological Reflection and Creative Action: Art As Apologetics: the
proclamation of truth through the arts, addressing the condition of humanity with logical
consistency, empirical adequacy, and existential relevance in the light of the everlasting
Hope of the Gospel in Jesus Christ.
