Creativity is strongest when it invites and makes possible participation in truth. Combined with truth such creative strength becomes a shield, impenetrable. Each thought, word, note played, or activity expressed evidences a certain conviction, a surety, a deftness. In this way art cultivates trust, a shared faith.

Talent cultivated to merely excel for the sake of excellence may not fulfill its true creative potential. But art seeking truth carries potential for the mutual strengthening of artist and audience for something greater.
