What difference does an infinite understanding of creative satisfaction make to being successful in this world?
It’s not that time, talent, and treasure are not key factors in determining creative satisfaction. Rather these are re-signified when we align and ally ourselves to a creative calling that is higher than human creative potential as we can know it in terms of this world alone—this is striving toward an infinite mindset. How do we go about achieving this?
First, it starts with a resolution we need to make for ourselves, especially when both finite and infinite approaches to creative satisfaction may look very similar to one another when evaluated in terms of material benefits derived. However, while others might go about things in a certain way, we might say, “As for me….”
Second, allegorically speaking, set our faces to the sun rather than the shadow. Seek truth in relationships, being optimistic in the ways in which we relate to and feel about others and the world.
Third, refrain from idolizing anyone or anything, especially ourselves and our works. A better version of ourselves might be setting our sights too low especially for those created in the likeness of the Creator. It’s a dynamic reorientation toward the source of our creative being, knowing, and doing. This is worship; should we settle for anything less?
